The faces of immigrants make me curious about their personal stories and what has led them to pursue new lives across the border. I imagine the heartbreak and hardships they have endured, knowing that so many of them are trying to escape poverty and physical danger. Their willingness to attempt better lives for themselves and their families speaks to the human condition and what we have in common, rather than what sets us apart.
