I am working on a project "Birds of Passage," in which I am documenting my Hmong refugee/immigrant family. Most people are not familiar with the Hmong and their culture. I am trying to expose people to the reality that everyone is connected--that all people share common dreams, concerns and hopes for their children and the future.
