What is Social Justice Philanthropy?
Social justice philanthropy is a sector of the philanthropic world that is dedicated toward ensuring equal rights for all and generating justice for those who were treated wrongly.

It is also in place so that people who are more well-off can use their resources in order to aid others who are not as well-off. Philanthropy is a beautiful thing that shows the true decency in the populace--it is an acknowledgment of privilege and utilizing it to better the world.

If we applied what we learned from the challenges of the historical examples to today's, we would be better equipped in fighting the rampant injustices that have plagued our nations for generations. Social injustice will always be an issue, but the way in which we approach these injustices can change--let's try and change it for the better.
