Never-ending Depressive Cycle

As Daniel Broxon states in I’M ALWAYS GOING TO FEEL THIS WAY”: OVERGENERAL MEMORY AND HOPELESSNESS IN DEPRESSED EMERGING ADULTS, Hopelessness has been linked to a number of poor outcomes particularly with depression and suicide," (page 20). Broxon is emphasizing the dangers of hopelessness, especially in teens. As I stated in the audio recording, teenagers often feel trapped in a depressive cycle that they cannot break out of and the dangers of feeling such a way such as lower energy levels and suicide are highlighted by Broxon, which is why Get Help's message of raising awareness of this issue is so important. With that being said, it is never too late to break out and seek help, which was the ending theme of Get Help.
