2020   The CWRU Film Society celebrates its 50th anniversary.  A permanent display for the
              Film Society is installed in Strosacker.  

              CWRU holds its first virtual-only Homecoming/Alumni Weekend.

2021    The United States Capitol building in Washington D.C. is attacked during an 
              insurrection conducted by some American citizens on January 6th. 

              
CWRU launches COVID-19 vaccination clinics in 2 campus gymnasiums and
              successfully administers doses to 15,000+ people between March 1st and June 30th
              with the aid of 1,491 students, faculty, and staff who volunteered to work the clinics. 

             CWRU alumna Bianca Smith (LAW '17, MGT '17) makes history by becoming 
              the first black woman to coach a professional baseball team (the Boston Red Sox).
