Adelbert Dorms
The rooms are arranged in suites for two or three students. The halls are lighted by gas, but for lighting the rooms, each student must provide for himself. 'Student lamps' are usually used. On each floor are basins. Closets in the Basement. All the rooms are heated by steam. Board is furnished in the Refectory, by a club of students...The cost does not exceed three dollars a week. No supervision is exercised over men in the Dormitory, although every man is expected to behave as a gentleman.

All undergraduate male students of Freshman standing not residing with their parents or guardians are required to live in Claud Foster Hall...All rooms in Claud Foster Hall are double rooms. They are equipped with single beds, mattresses, pillows, desks, chairs, wardrobes, window drapes, and bedspreads to provide the occupants with the most favorable conditions for study and comfort. Sheets and pillowcases are supplied and laundered by the University. Residents supply their own blankets, throw rugs, and towels. Additional furniture or fixtures are not permitted.
