About the Authors 

Amanda Myles (she/her/hers) is a first year student in Dr Burgess-Van Aken's Philanthropy in America Course. She is majoring in Psychology and Sociology with a minor in Women and Gender Studies at Case Western Reserve University. She is from Mentor, Ohio. The arts are an important part of Amanda's life, as she enjoys playing the cello, listening to music, and painting in her free time. 









Ethan Ho (he/him/his) is also a first year student in Dr. Burgess-Van Aken's Philanthropy in America Course. He is majoring in Computer Science at Case Western Reserve University. He is from Moorestown, New Jersey. Ethan greatly enjoys the arts, especially music, as he plays the violin and participates in many ensembles, including the Case Western Reserve University Circle Symphony Orchestra.








Nathan Hall is a first-year student at Case Western University. In addition, he is in the class Philanthropy in America, taught by Dr. Burgess-Van Aken. He is from Washington D.C. and is planning to major in applied mathematics. He is also interested in working in healthcare and is on the pre-med track.
