Chapter 5: Philanthropy in Developing Countries
Through this chapter we will analyze what makes philanthropy effective in developing countries. By looking through different non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and their mission around the globe, we will explore controversies in the developing world. No NGO mentioned in this chapter is completely ineffective. However, certain NGOs are more effective than others at balancing the demands to be an effective NGO.
