About the Student Authors
Hi! My name is Ryan and I am an 18 year old nursing student at Case Western Reserve University. I grew up in Los Angeles and I often spent my time hiking in the local mountain ranges, cooking for family and friends, or exploring the many ethnic conclaves that Los Angeles has to offer. After I graduate I plan on working in the emergency department of a hospital in Oregon before doing training to become a flight nurse. Eventually I plan on going back to school to get my nurse practitioners or CRNA, but one step at a time right!
Molly Zugner:
Hi! My name is Molly Zugner and I am a first year nursing student in the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing at Case Western Reserve University. I’m working towards completing my BSN. After this I’m hoping to work in an ER or ICU setting in the Cleveland Area in order to become an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. This will allow me to pursue Flight Nursing and hopefully lead to a career in the flight division of the Cleveland Clinics Critical Care Transport Team. I am from a small town in Upstate New York called Victor where I participated in my school's theater department as a musical actress and Co-Leader of the Makeup and Hair Artistry team. I enjoy thrifting and I love to crochet and play my guitar between theater productions.
Laura Rodríguez Rosales:
Hello! My name is Laura Rodríguez Rosales. I am a first-year nursing major at Case Western Reserve and come from the island of Puerto Rico. Nursing has always been something I was interested in, but it was not something I officially chose to pursue until my junior year of high school. Career-wise, I want to explore the vast specialty fields of nursing, but I am particularly interested in gerontology. I consider myself an animal person with a cat named Vito and a dog named Cocoa. I love watching movies and TV series and going out with friends. I also love nature and being outdoors.
