Contained within this moment of intensity is a timeline created from the types of images presented. It starts with pictures of a healthy landscape and thriving wildlife followed by images of humans acting in destructive ways over and over, and in the last segment, all the player can see are images of desolate wastelands and dying animals. The rapid succession of these images crammed into one short timeline seemingly creates a blend between our actions and the decomposition of our environment. In total, this scene captures the players mind and thoughts through the intense visuals and plunges them into the Le Lac dreamscape where they face how they (and humanity) are destructive even if they didn't realize it until playing this game. One author, Lombard M., states that "Immersiveness can be assessed objectively based on the levels of vividness and interactivity it can offer" (Lombard M.). Given the flashing images in this clip and the intense invironment, this section of the game can easily be labeled as 'immersive'. One other author and immersion expert, De Gauquier, states that "studies have indicated that immersive environments create various persuasive effects" (De Gauquier). Given the fact that the clips in this game create a sense of immersion and that immersion can lead to persuasion, LeLac, has the ability to persuade its users into making a change as they are sucked into this digital environment.
