Interaction

An interactive approach to composition fosters active, shared experience between creator and interactor. This experience might often be enacted in a multimodal and multidimensional space such as a game, an interactive documentary, a perfomance, or even a zine. Interactive composition foregrounds co-creation of knowledge and meaning in ways that favor complexity over causation.

Concepts: complexity, relationship between self and others, multi-perspectivalism, agency, engagement, immersion
Modes: visual, gestural, aural, linguistic, spatial
