Visually, the layout of these 2 pages is pretty clear. Pedro was teaching the children how to protect themselves. It can be seen that he got emotional when giving his speech here. In the first panel on page 99, he was giving a scenario. The author emboldened the word “insists”, emphasizing that he really stress those word while speaking in front of people. Then, in the next panel, everything got more intense. The drawing transits from his whole body standing on the stage in the first panel to the zoomed-in picture of his face only. He was angry. We can see this from his facial expression: the wrinkles on his face, his raised eyebrows, and the fierceness in his eyes. The word “LEAVE” was emboldened and put in a separated speech bubble. His temper was carried forward to the next panel and adding to it was his hand gesture, very strong and decisive. He was using some short phrases, boosting the tension here. However, as the speech continued,  his emotion shifted towards a sadder vibe. Different angels of Pedro was pictured. He reminded his audiences to take claim of themselves as no one but them has the right to do so.
