Siamak seems really relaxed when talking about the torture in the prison. But others are greatly shocked, glaring at Siamak in fear. Marjane is the only child among these four people, compared with her parents, her mouth is more zigzag which indicates the greater fearness she has than her parents. Panel one and panel three corresponds with each other. The depiction in the third panel accurately shows the position of Marjane and her parents in the first panel. I believe it is Siamak are more willing to tell his experience to Marjane that Marjane stands closes to him. In this way, through telling personal story to Marjane, young generations are able to generate a basic idea of revolutionlist and fight back in the future.
