The triptych was organized in an approximately symmetric way. The left panel was the scene that Pedro was camouflaging his inner, while the right panel delineated the authentic mental and physical condition of Pedro. Two panels mentioned above serve as comparison to each other. While in the middle, Pedro was depressed that he could not cover the fact any more. He was mired in an impasse of self questioning. He lost his hope of his future life. Like an votive Christian, Pedro was actively seeking his salvation from the god. Hope and mental power were all abandon at this moment. He would trust any ism, theory that could, at least give him even the smallest amount of hope.
