It shows readers the facial emotion and body actions more comprehensively than just one angle. Otherwise, Pedro’s thin face and relatively tired eyes have implied that he was tortured by the illness. However, he behaves very calm and confident during the speech that means he has already accepted the unfortunate thing happened to him and really hopes others could avoid the same pain. The usual text boxes aren’t used and the author cites many speech content to represent Pedro’s ideas in a direct way.
