But this time she focus on the facial expression more. There is a very huge conflict between the facial expression of the police and that of the normal people. The police looks pretty violent and angry while for the normal people, all they express is hopeless and hurt. The contrast and the facial expression helps the author to illustrate the picture that the domestic situation of Iran is very horrific during this time.
