Compositing with the text “Pedro would not see Christmas”, “You always see someone is going to die in movies, but it is different when it is a reality for a friend”, and “One who lies in his bed just ten feet away from you, Pedro is going to die”, the images trigger my thought that if one day the same thing happens on me, how I can make me feel better. The bigger back of Pedro is even the most impressive picture for me from the whole book, this image not only shows the fact of one’s death, but also serves as a foil of author’s desperation, and this dark fact finally immerses the readers in the story. The big blanket brings the reader to Pedro’s word and lets them feel Pedro’s pain, which creates strong emotional touch.
