Firgues

In the next panel, a lot of children resemble the pose of those martyrs. Those two panels form a clear contrast. Both of them in two panels are pursuing a better life but their paths are different. The soldiers seek happiness in transcendence and ignore life in the real world; however, the children enjoy the current life and scorn the so-called happiness in paradise. Soldiers are deceived by the ISS to sacrifice themselves for a false phantasm. Children's happiness and soldiers' pain form a clear contrast, which seems like children are mocking those soldiers by their happy smile.
