One that is more developed and aware, but they are all in for a surprise when they wake up and realize that their appearance resembles one of a monster. After plenty of time, it is discovered that there is a relationship between these monsters to their original form. They can still hold the memory of their original form meaning that the consciousness of the human is still remaining inside.So what can be concluded about the the transfigured humans in Upgrade Soul? The people that went in are still the same ones that come out. "They are us," is what Molly said to hank after figuring out what occurred. So their appearance changed but their internal identity has not. Now they must learn to come to terms with their new self.
