The Talos Principle 2 is one of those games that make you question everything around you. It talks about a myriad of philosophical ideas that question aspects of life, often forcing the player to really think about the questions posed. That’s why its main game feature, puzzles, really fit into the game as a way to both learn and solve puzzles, but to also ponder on the philosophical questions posed in between puzzle rooms.
The main plot of the story dives deep into the theme of discovery, in multiple ways. From the idea of exploration into the unknown and defying authority to do so, to discovery within oneself and finding out the meaning of life outside a specific purpose, The Talos Principle 2 expresses its theme of discovery in more than one way.
