Upgrade Soul is a collaboratively written narrative made by Ezra Claytan Daniels and Erik Loyer alongside the composer Alexis Gideon. It was created only a couple of years ago in 2019. You can access this free narrative from the app store as it began as an app for iPhones and iPads. It involves genres of horror and black diaspora which is an extremely interesting combination.
The narrative essentially revolves around Hank and Molly Nonnar who are doctors that try to go through a life-altering experience this scientific experiment to rejuvenate the human body. This game involves the theme of identity/self-discovery but differently than Please Don't Touch Me. This game involves more of the journey made between the characters that go through with the experiment. They must come to terms with the outcome of the experiment done on them and now they must discover how it impacted them, physically and mentally.
