In the comic strip above, a story is seen that incorporates themes of fantasy, specifically the mythical fairies, while still discussing the more serious topic of mental health. This fantastical element being utilized to discuss depression and show an optimistic perspective of battling mental health can serve as therapy for an audience. I chose this work because it provides an excellent example of how mental health can be discussed in fantasy fiction and literature. The use of animals in the comic relates to the use of fiction, just as it did in "Everything is Going to be OK," and the upfront sad yet somewhat optimistic approach was meant to correlate to that of "Depression Quest."
