These nonprofits are dependent on philanthropy.
  
  Above is a map of just a few of the nonprofits in the Cleveland area that strive towards putting an end to the social injustice today. These organization take philanthropic donations and utilize them by educating the public and providing resources and services to those that are unable to attain them on their own. This includes providing forms of healthcare to individuals who cannot afford it, giving legal service at no cost to individuals in need, advocating for expanded rights and better treatment of individuals and finding resources for those who are without.

This organization was founded in 1966 and is still present today. Their goal is to fight for equality and equal treatment for women and have not stopped working towards these goals since their foundation.   This is only a snapshot into the world of social justice nonprofits. The needs for social justice today are seemingly endless and while the nonprofits working to solve these issues seem abundant, the philanthropy is not. The sole hope these organizations have to solve our issues and injustice of today is by receiving donations from those that support their missions. These nonprofits can no longer work alone, social justice nonprofits require one thing: society working alongside them.
