Arts about the Authors

Grant Carr

Grant Carr is a first-year undergraduate student at Case Western Reserve University studying Music and Business through a joint program with the Cleveland Institute of Music. Originally from Tacoma, Washington, Grant spends his time playing piano, rock climbing, and surfing on the Washington Coast. Throughout high school, Grant spent several years in the nonprofit world as an intern with the Tacoma Needle Exchange; learning the values of empathy and the vast inequities that exist in todays society. Grant has thoroughly enjoyed working on this project and would like to give a huge thank you to Stamy Paul from Graffiti HeArt and Caitie H. Milcinovic from the Cleveland Public Theatre for agreeing to be interviewed by him and sharing their invaluable insight into the world of arts nonprofits during these challenging times.
