1. Welcome to the Libraries of Case Western Reserve University

In 2021 Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) celebrated Kelvin Smith Library’s (KSL) 25 years of service and dedication to the campus community. KSL is the main campus library of CWRU. KSL's collection serves the College of Arts and Sciences, the Case School of Engineering, and the Weatherhead School of Management. KSL also houses Special Collections, a non-circulating collection of rare books and manuscripts. In 2020, the Kulas Music Collection moved into the first floor of KSL. The University Archives, consisting of the records of CWRU, is also part of KSL but is located in the Bioenterprise Building. The Astronomy Library, located in the Sears Building, operates as a satellite collection of KSL. Aside from KSL, there is The Harris Library that serves the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences and the Green Library that serves the Law School. The Health Sciences Library operates from the Allen Memorial Building and from the Health Education campus. All these libraries operate as CWRU’s University Libraries.
