The Importance of Both Perspectives

However, the alternative and lesser-known perspective, the international perspective, is equally as important to learn. Without an understanding of both perspectives, telling only one side of the story can lead to a skewed understanding of the Movement, and by extension, contemporary politics as they relate to racial equality. The international perspective path will lead you through a more globally frontloaded path with the same Scalar pages, just in a different order. When reading through this path, focus on the other, more forgotten perspective of the Civil Rights Movement.
