As a matter of fact I got so I simply gagged every time I sat before my desk to write an ad. It made me so nervous that my only why not[?] was simply to "get out" and either explain myself for a resc[?]ption of the same work with less hesitance, or change my occupation altogether. I am leaving[?] summer for Woodstock, N. Y. -- a place in Cow[?] mountains and with lovely scenery -- to stay with Brown and Nagle[?] in a home they have taken there for the winter. After about a month of tramping[?] and woodchopping I hope to come back here somewhat renewed. I may try some freelance writing, reviewing etc. or get a job in a [?] home -- or so back into advertising -- I don't know yet -- and don't care & decide until I am more [?]. I wish you would write me while I'm in the woods! This letter is badly written and illegible -- [?] such a [?] [underlined] as [?] my [?] takes!
