Dear Charles: How do you manage to “do” such light-fingered beauties as come out of the east?!! You have at last an en-thusiastic audience of one [underlined]! Thanks for your letter also and please continue. This i [sic] all I can get time for now. The copy director at J. Walter Thomson is trying to find a way to work me in there despite a well-filled copy dept. I [ful?] quite flattered although only mildly hopeful. Meanwhile luncheons continue with Untermeyer, Burke, Frank etc. Alfred Stieglitz says I am the first one to deserve the secret of his marvelous photos—which means an article when I can get time.
