This game is directed towards Americans who only learned the perspective of the Americans about the acts that were passed in the 1890s that took away land from Native Americans. The purpose is to emphasize the impact of colonization on Indigenous communities and to bring awareness. The digital narrative game takes place in 1890's in Minnesota. There were 3 major things that the player had to find which was food, medicine, and spiritual wellbeing. For this picture, you can see that the player is replenishing their spiritual wellbeing by listening to the Native American's story about the drum. This design choice reflects the spiritual nature of Native Americans.
For the fishing picture, the context, and audience is the same. However, in this picture, you can see that the player is replenishing their hunger by trying to go fishing. This design choice to include the action of fishing reflects how Native Americans acquired their food by either hunting or fishing which is very different from how Americans gathered their food.
