The University Downtown, 1843-1954

Did you know?[This site provides images of classroom, laboratory, and staff work spaces, exterior and aerial photographs of buildings, a timeline of the University's downtown presence, and a simplified map of building locations. For 5 of the 7 schools that began downtown (Cleveland College, Schools of Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, and the Case School of Applied Science) correspondence, snapshots of enrollment and tuition statistics, illustrations from yearbooks and student publications, and university brochures help convey the atmosphere of university life downtown as well as the sentiments and experience of the students and staff that learned and worked in these locations from 1843-1954. ]
