This description was located in the playbill. In part it reads: "The Ascent of F-6 is more than the drama of intrepid mountain climbers: it is an ironic interpretation of the motives of men and of the leaders of men, a satiric presentation of a hypocritical society. The mountain must be ascended to satisfy the practical politician, who hopes to avoid force in strengthening the Empire; the wealthy newspaper publisher, who wishes to increase sales by a sensational scoop; the patriotic sentimentalist, who exults in a new proof of English course and persistence; and lastly, the little people--Mr. and Mrs. A.--who find in another's adventure escape from a dreary life in which nothing matters."plain2023-05-31T20:28:46+00:00Jody Kunk-Czaplicki85c81da1328ea66b03b37faea11e5273e3ab9d06
