Basketball and scores

See the scores among the Mather classes. A note about scoring, according to the Dr. James Naismith Original 13 rules of basketball (from 1892), shots were 1 point each. However, in 1896, Dr. Naismith amended the rules to include a successful foul shot, worth one point, and successful field goals worth 2 points. Assuming that women played by the same rules as men, some of the game outcomes have high scores. Additionally, we believe the yearbooks were published a full academic year after the prior graduating class. This may account for the senior class (class of 1899) not being in the basketball yearbook photographs.plain2023-05-31T18:45:54+00:00Jody Kunk-Czaplicki85c81da1328ea66b03b37faea11e5273e3ab9d06
