Red Horizon
The art of medicine lies in its ability to see new worlds and experience our patient's lives with them. Imagine truly seeing the world from another's perspective. Physicians are able to use specialized eye drops to better view the back of the eye, known as the retina (appearing red in the bottom image). The retina allows us to transmit light into pictures that travel to our brain. As art and beauty are in the eye of the beholder, the retina serves as the window into how we see life and color and interpret them into something unique.
